But first, here's what's been happening in the quilting world.
International Quilt Festival Celebrates Milestones!
Exciting news for the quilting world! Quilts, Inc. is set to honor some incredible milestones this year:
- 50th Anniversary of the International Quilt Festival: From October 31 to November 3, 2024, at Houston's George R. Brown Convention Center, this year's festival marks five decades of celebrating quilting artistry and community! See their website here.
- 45th Anniversary of the International Quilt Market: Scheduled for October 26–28, 2024, this trade show will precede the festival, celebrating its 45th year as a pivotal event for quilting professionals and enthusiasts. Tula Pink will be unveiling her 50th collection of fabrics at the event. Read all about it here. I just love her fabrics - they are so bright and cheerful!

Recent Pattern Releases and Quilting Projects
If you're feeling that 'fall spirit', check out "Beck's Apple Crumble" Pattern. Bev McCullough has outdone herself with this apple-themed quilt pattern! Quilt Donations for Hurricane Helene Victims
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. In times like these, the warmth of our quilting community can truly make a difference.
In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, Cary Quilting Company organized a quilt drive to support the victims. Generous quilters have been donating quilts to provide comfort to those affected. While the shop has received ample monetary donations, they are still accepting contributions to assist with shipping costs. You can read all about the great work being done here.
